In July 2018, after many years working in Afghanistan, I was urgently transported from Kabul to a hospital in Italy. A few minutes after landing in Milan I had emergency surgery and after some days I was diagnosed with rare, 'devastating' metastatic cancer which required another surgery and combined radio-chemotherapy. Unfortunately, in 2018, I also became disabled. Now, despite all the problems I have been dealing with due to three years of pandemic, the Taliban takeover making it difficult to resume my activities aimed at helping women-owned companies export Afghan products, and the late side effects of radio-chemotherapy, I absolutely need to go back to work as a self-employed person (I rule out the possibility of working in a company's in-house staff due to my severe disability) and I would be very grateful to anyone who can help me start again by supporting my PayPal Fundraiser with a donation.
